Well, here we have another lame reincarnation of the
legendary Batman character. Most fans will definitely argue
that Batman Beyond is the superior spin-off of the Dark
Knight. This kiddy show is just a fast paced duplicate of
the central idea of Batman. The show chronicles Batman in
his early years and we meet familiar villains that seem
to be updated for the recent generation of kids. The show
takes on a form of animation that is basically categorized
as American Japanimation. The show is just Batman fighting
villains and nothing more. The Riddler is focus of this
season. Great to throw at your kids after they come home
from school, even though there is so much better animation
programs based on this famous character. ---
Image & Sound:
Image is sharp and colors are bright, it's an overall
good presentation. Warner usually has pretty darn good transfers
and no exception here. The sound is your basic 2.0 Dolby
mix, which shouldn't be a surprise. Technically, the set
is pretty good. ---

You only have a short recap featurette here on this
disc, the season 1 set is where you had a bunch of special
features.

Final Words:
|
Batman is a huge franchise for
WB to own, and they are certainly squeezing everything they
can out of it. The film franchise will always be the benchmark
of entertainment revolving around the character, but for the
young ones there is definitely better stuff out there than
this. |
