Throughout the 1980s, soap operas were an phenomenon
across the world, and while General Hospital led the way
to action/adventure, mystery, and sweeping romance during
the day, Dallas led the way to stories of power, betrayal,
greed, jealousy, and more during the night. All 30 episodes
of the show's eleventh season is released in a two-sided
disc. Season eleven was the final season that Dallas was
ranked in the Top 30 yet the show continues to remain popular
today thanks to reruns in syndication all over the world.

Dallas kicked off its boots in season eleven, with Ewing
Oil in collapse, but don't expect the ever slick and sly
J.R. (Larry Hagman) to turn over a new leaf, because if
there's one thing -- no, make two things -- he learns, it
is the Golden Rule: do unto others what others done to you;
what goes around comes around, and you reap what you sow.
The man we loved to hate yet hate to love spends this season
fighting his way back to the top through the only way he
knows how: lying, cheating, blackmail. You name it, he's
done it, and will do it again. ***
Meanwhile, saintly brother Bobby (Patrick Duffy) continues
to grieve over the lost of his true love Pam (Victoria Principal),
but he finds love again later on with April Curtis (Sheree
J. Wilson, Walker, Texas Ranger). Season eleven marks the
exodus of another alumni leaving Southfork: recovering alcoholic
Sue Ellen (Linda Gray). However, before leaving Dallas,
she finally gets her revenge on ex-husband J.R. that has
been a decade long overdue. ***
