"Dirty Deeds"
Reviewer:
John Anthony
Studio: Trinity/Universal
Genre: Comedy
Release:
1/10/ 2006
Special Features: None
Review:

Another teen comedy, starring Lacey Chabert (Party Of Five) Danso Gordon and Milo Ventimiglia (Gilmore Girls). The "Dirty Deeds" centers around West Valley High School, and its weekend tradition of DD.There are 10 dares within a 12 hour period in which the deeds take place which makes for a wild night. Other movies with the same type of story are" Fast Times At Ridgemont High" and "American Pie" which were classics in my book, but this one doesn't even compare to those, but still works for a few laughs here and there. The version that I received was PG-13,and the other version which is unrated is much better around the story's involvement with sexual content. Overall the story is a little bit slow when the deeds are being pranked out, now enough said this is more a renter that a purchase in my opinion.

Image & Sound:

The image is well-defined for the most part, exhibiting overall good color tones and solid blacks. The sound design is mostly towards the front channels, with meager surround engagement during the music numbers

Special Features: None

Final Words:

If your looking for that nerdy/ sexy/ teen- humor comedy on a good late friday night then this movie, is it...
