Alex Borstein is an incredibly versatile and hilarious
comedian. She is famous for her work on Mad TV where she
created so many memorable characters, most famously Miss
Swan. She is currently working as vocal talent and writer
for Family Guy. This stand-up special is her ranting on
Hollywood and the Hollywood community. I've always been
a fan of Borstein and any fan of hers should get the DVD.
It's a bit cheap that Fox is plastering Family Guy all over
the packaging trying to get Family Guy fans to but it, but
it's true. If you like Family Guy's brand of comedy then
you should enjoy Borstein's comedy. ---
Image & Sound:
The disc is actually presented in 1.78:1 anamorphic
widescreen and the picture is actually really good, but
the sound on the other hand is 2.0 mono. It would be nice
to have a 5.1 track so it feels more like we are sitting
in the audience. ---

We have a tour of the Family Guy studio and the end
titles song, nothing but fluff. If you're gonna but the
disc then buy it for the stand-up.

A funny one-woman performance
that should please fans of Borstien, if you like Family Guy
then I recommend checking it out but I'm not promising it's
the same thing. |
