The show is another series where Disney tried to change
their original cartoons for the new generation. Donald Duck
joins the Navy, so he leaves his nephews with his Uncle
Scrooge McDuck. The group goes around the world searching
for treasure to add to the greedy Uncle Scrooge's wealth.
The show is nothing special and is just a different version
of Chip N' Dale: Rescue Rangers. Disney just took their
classic characters and changed them for a different audience.
It pleases the new audience I'm sure, but as a kid I didn't
care for it. ---
Image & Sound:
The animation is pretty sharp for a late 80's cartoon,
it's 4:3 of course. The sound is 2.0 mono, which is expected
due to the age of the show. ---

The original pilot episode is included, not really an
extra but it's considered one. ---

Final Words:
|
I was not a fan of the revamping
of classic Disney characters, maybe you were. If you are parents
looking for entertainment for your kids then please start
them on the classics. |
