The Review:

Think of it as the direct-to-video version of Britney Spears' theatrical flick "Crossroads," only G-rated and featuring the ever-wholesome Olsen twins. This time, the girls find themselves with a liscene to drive, and fuel to burn. They head out on a road trip in hopes of catching the Olympic games, along the way experiencing all sorts of oddities and calamities while meeting new and interesting people... the usual itinerary for a movie of this sort. Not the sort of thing you'll show to a room full of film critics, but for its intended audience, it should please in all fields.

Image and Sound

For a full-frame image, the quality here is above average, though some noise and distractions are apparent. The Dolby Surround track features some deep bass during the music, but other than that, it's mostly dialogue-driven.

The Extras

Nothing here that would really blow away an audience, but the supplements fit in with the movie. The alternate ending is okay, the behind-the-scenes footage a general puff piece, the Sweet 16 Party Planning Tips of considerable use to those looking for tips on a party, and a trivia quiz.

Commentary None
Final Words: Not that I'm a big fan of the Olsen twins, but followers of their work should enjoy this recent effort.
