JAG (Judge Advocate General) was an extremely successful
crime drama that ran for 10 seasons. The show follows our
main character as he investigates all crimes, accidents,
terrorist plots, and other situations that take place within
the Navy and Marines. The show took a familiar idea and
put a fresh spin on it by bringing us into a new environment.
The show was action packed yet still had plenty of content
to analyze. We basically have an action courtroom drama
that also had great characters that carried the show. Season
1 is a great set for fans to revisit the show. ---
Image & Sound:
The show is presented in fullscreen with a Dolby 2.0
track. The picture and sound are all up to expectations
for a TV box set. Picture is sharp and colors are strong,
and while a 5.1 track would be ideal the 2.0 does satisfy.

Features: |
We get a decent amount of great special features here
that really show how the show got up and running. It has
a few good featurettes that really provide a good look at
the show's military accuracy and how everything was set
in motion.

Final Words:
|
A show that some consider a
classic, and while nobody is praising JAG for its brilliance,
it sure did entertain many viewers during its run. |
