| Review:
|
JAG (Judge Advocate General) was an extremely successful
crime drama that ran for 10 seasons. The show follows our
main character as he investigates all crimes, accidents,
terrorist plots, and other situations that take place within
the Navy and Marines. The show took a familiar idea and
put a fresh spin on it by bringing us into a new environment.
The show was action packed yet still had plenty of content
to analyze. We basically have an action courtroom drama
that also had great characters that carried the show. Season
2 is a great set for fans to revisit the show. Season 2
spends more time in the courtroom and does have some greater
character development ---
Image & Sound:
The show is presented in fullscreen with a Dolby 2.0
track. The picture and sound are all up to expectations
for a TV box set. Picture is sharp and colors are strong,
and while a 5.1 track would be ideal the 2.0 does satisfy.

Features: |
The special features are a bit limited here in comparison
to the first season, but we do have some select cast and
crew commentaries, a look at the making of the show, and
a featurette on the real JAG corps. Not a set to get excited
for, mostly for the fans.

Final Words:
|
A show that some consider a classic,
and while nobody is praising JAG for its brilliance, it sure
did entertain many viewers during its run. |
