Review: |
The fourth season is everything
"The Jeffersons" was about: insults (increasingly from Florence
this season), racial humor, standard sitcom plots (mistaken
affairs, kidnappings, etc.), attempts at serious issues, and
the ever-popular (for producers, at least) flashback episodes.
The most memorable episode in this collection is probably
the Christmas one, "984 W. 124th Street, Apt. 5C" in which
George secretly sends Christmas presents to an address in
Harlem.

and Sound: |
This DVD doesn't look or sound any
different than the previous seasons (i.e. soft, grainy picture,
clean, monaural sound). That's not very good from a DVD standpoint,
but it isn't too bad considering the age of the source material.

Words: |
If you enjoy the Jeffersons, you
will enjoy the fourth season; if you do not enjoy the Jeffersons,
you won't find much here to change your mind.
