Review:

The final season of the campy action drama sees life on DVD in this three disc set. This technically cannot be called a season, I mean, it's only eight episodes. It was more an effort of the fans who pushed for a fifth season. So this is more of a wrap up miniseries. The whole point of these episodes was merely to wrap up all the loose ends. So, this set is solely for fans and not recommended for newcomers. If you want to start the series then I recommend that you start at the beginning, and that goes for any show. So in terms of story and character there really isn't much to discuss. It's a wrap up for the fans, and much appreciated. ---

Image & Sound:

The show is presented in 1.33:1 with Dolby Digital 2.0. It's on par with last season's release with the transfer turning out pretty good. Image is sharp and black levels are handled really well for a televison show. The sound does its job, but one can imagine the benefit of a 5.1 mix.

Special Features:

The set has some deleted scenes and an internet teaser, which is mostly fluff. Fans will be the most interesting in "Season 5 Declassified". In this featurette we see interviews with the show's creators and cast members about the last 8 episodes. That's all that the set has to offer.

Final Words:

It's a wrap up that the fans deserved. A show that goes on for four seasons shouldn't be abruptly ended, it's unfair to the loyal viewers. Fans will be incredibly pleased to be able to sit and watch all these episodes in 1 or 2 sittings.
