Review:

Reba McEntire's popular WB comedy finds its third season hitting DVD shelves. The show is a comic look at this dysfunctional family and having to make end's meet with what you've got. Reba finds herself divorced from her husband who had an affair and is expecting a baby outside there marriage, and dealing with her daughter who got impregnated by her high school boyfriend. Season three picks up on these family conflicts and continues in Reba tradition by providing a heartwarming comedic twist to these situations. ---

Image & Sound: The show is presented here in its 4:3 ratio, and with it being a newer show the picture has a sharp vibrant edge to it. I think it's nice that TV shows on DVD tend to look better so you can take a second glance to appreciate costumes and sets even though this is only a sitcom. The audio is Dolby 2.0 stereo with optional English and Spanish subtitles. ---

Special Features: 20th Century Fox provides a decent set of extras for Reba fans here. Even though the commentaries are only on 2 of the 22 episodes, there are two great featurettes. It should be interesting for fans to see the approach the creators of the show take to set the right comedic and emotional tone for the show.

Final Words:

Reba is harmless heartwarming fun that continues to satisfy its many fans. The set is a great addition for those who love the show. The extras provide just enough to please, but there are only two commentaries.
